Spyros Souladakis

Piano

Born in Athens. He studied piano with Ida Lori Margaritis and Marina
Koutouvalis (piano diploma with first prize unanimously).

He continued his piano studies at the Royal College of Music in London with the distinguished professors John Blakely and Nigel Clayton, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree, having also attended orchestration - composition courses. He has participated and attended numerous masterclasses by distinguished piano teachers and soloists such as Paul Badura Skoda, Murray Perahia, Pierre Boulez, Nelly Acopian-Tamarina,Konstantin & Julia Ganev, Aleksandar Raichev, etc.

He has been awarded in international competitions in Greece and abroad. In Great Britain he won first prize at the "Robert Sutherland" piano
accompaniment competition (2002).

He performs constantly, as a soloist and accompanist. He has also performed in many chamber music concerts in Greece and abroad. New York, London, Rome, Paris, Milan, Weimar, Athens, Thessaloniki, Crete, Rhodes, Cyprus, are some of the places he has performed.

He works as a coach for opera singers, he has premiered original works of 20th and 21st century composers and prepares - accompanies singers of all music genres and musicians in examinations, auditions, and concerts. He
collaborates with the Greek National Opera, the Athens Megaron, the Onassis foundation, the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, and other institutions in music/educational courses, throughout Greece.

He lives and works in Athens as a pianist and piano and theory teacher since 2004.
